Children get creative at the Rodgau public library

The Nieder-Roden public library invites children aged 6 and over to its regular creative time. Once a month on Friday afternoons, children paint, glue and fold. The first date this year is 30 January. The first group does handicrafts from 3.30 to 4.30 pm, the second group starts at 4.45 pm. Crafting and colouring support children's development on very different levels. On the one hand, fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are trained, and on the other hand, children can live out their imagination and creativity through such activities, which has a positive effect on cognitive abilities and problem-solving skills. Crafting and colouring can also help children to express their emotions and relieve stress. But above all, working in a group is a lot of fun. This afternoon will be spent experimenting with different printing techniques. All materials will be provided. The programme is free of charge. As places are limited, please register in advance. Registrations are accepted in person at the public libraries, by telephone on 06106 693 1322 or by e-mail to buecherei@rodgau.de.
