The city of Rodgau is currently carrying out pruning work before the start of the breeding and setting season on 1 March 2026 for reasons of traffic safety in public traffic areas. At present, more extensive pruning is still possible, while only gentle shaping and maintenance pruning is permitted during the breeding and setting season out of consideration for nature. In this context, the town of Rodgau would also like to remind private property owners of the applicable traffic safety obligations and asks them to cut back overhanging vegetation in public traffic areas, especially on footpaths, roads, traffic signs or at crossroads sightlines.
