30 years of education, opportunities and prospects

30 years of education fair

Rodgau is celebrating a special event: for three decades, the Rodgau Education Fair has been a central platform where young people, adults, companies, institutions and educational establishments come together. Under the motto "30 years of education, opportunities and prospects", the town of Rodgau is inviting people to its anniversary fair on 21 February, building on a success story that extends far beyond the region. What began as a small information event in 1995 has developed over the years into one of the largest and most important education fairs in the region. The fair not only offers visitors guidance in an increasingly complex world of education and careers, but also opens doors to apprenticeships, study programmes, qualification opportunities and career reorientation. For 30 years, the education fair has been a place where the future becomes concrete. This is where contacts, perspectives and opportunities are created - for young people as well as for adults who want to develop their careers. To mark the anniversary, around 120 exhibitors from business, the trades, the service sector, the public sector, schools, universities and further education institutions will be presenting themselves. Visitors can look forward to personal counselling, presentations and practical insights into numerous professional fields.

Trade fair magazine with RIASEC test

The trade fair team has prepared a special activity this year to help visitors focus even more intensively on their own career orientation: The trade fair magazine contains the RIASEC test, which young people and adults can use to work out their interests and professional strengths. Based on their personal test results, they can then go to the appropriately labelled stands where they can collect stickers.

Prize draw and distinguished visitors

Anyone who collects three stickers will automatically be entered into the big anniversary prize draw - with an attractive main prize and numerous other prizes. The live prize draw will start at 2.00 pm at the City of Rodgau stand. A special focus this year will be on the topics of securing skilled labour, digitalisation and lifelong learning. A highlight of the anniversary event is the visit of the Hessian Minister for Labour, Integration, Youth and Social Affairs - Heike Hofmann. She will be the patron of the event and will officially open the fair at 9.30 am. The city of Rodgau is looking forward to celebrating the 30th anniversary together with all those involved - and to looking ahead: Towards new paths, new opportunities and an educational landscape that is constantly evolving.
