The independent theatre Lakritz from Darmstadt will be a guest at the Nieder-Roden public library on Saturday, 25 April. At 3.30 pm, children aged 3 and over can experience the story "Lizzylothek". A theatre play with two lively mice, a mouse book library and the big dream of having their own book. The two mouse sisters Lizzy and Lissy used to love books. They gnawed on books until the day they actually discovered a mouse on a book cover. Eating up a book in which a mouse friend plays the leading role is not an option. A great passion for collecting began and now they are the proud owners of a huge collection of mouse books. But one dream is still unfulfilled: A book in which they themselves play the leading roles. A theatre play that whets the appetite for books and reading and shows how a book can be created. Admission is free, but registration is required at buecherei@rodgau.de or by telephone on 06106 693 1322. The production was made possible with the kind support of the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art, the City of Science Darmstadt, HEAG Kulturfreunde Darmstadt gemeinnützige GmbH and Darmstädter Förderkreis Kultur e.V.
