After more than 300 people successfully took part in the online voting from 10 to 24 September, the name and appearance of the future chatbot have now been decided. It is TOWNy with a clear majority of 64.5% or 207 of the votes cast. The owl Rodanova came a distant second, followed by Roda, Ro-Bot and Rod the Bot. The TOWNy, which is visually reminiscent of the water tower, will now begin its service as a chatbot on the city administration and public utilities websites at the end of October. The chatbot symbol will then encourage interested parties to enter questions and concerns via text or voice, for which AI will provide supported information. All 5 variants and their voting results can be viewed on the website rodgau.govocal.com.
