Author Andrea A. Walter aka Fanny Svoboda will be reading from her latest crime novel "Sonnwendmord" on Thursday, 18 September at 7 pm in the Nieder-Roden public library. With the second volume after "Marillenknödelmord", the black-humoured crime cult continues. The reading is part of the literary festival Leseland Hessen with the kind support of the Hessian Ministry of Science and Research, Art and Culture, the Sparkassen-Kulturstiftung Hessen-Thüringen and hr2 Kultur. The "Sonnwendmord" takes place in a village in Wachau. The body of doctor's assistant Christel Hulatsch is discovered in a fire during a midsummer celebration. Crime writer Horvath sets off in search of clues and gets ever closer to the murderer ... Perhaps a little too close. Suspense and scurrility with a dash of Austrian humour characterise this endearing crime comedy. Admission is free, registration is requested. Bookings can be made by telephone on 06106 693 1322, by e-mail to buecherei@rodgau.de or on site at the Nieder-Roden and Jügesheim libraries.
