Rodgau can look forward to a cultural season that inspires, touches and surprises. The Department of Culture, Sport and Volunteering presents a multi-faceted programme in the Bürgerhaus Nieder-Roden (Römerstraße 15). The season will kick off with depth and humour on Saturday, 20 September, with cabaret artist Sonja Pikart and her programme "Halb Mensch". An astonishing and entertaining search for the roots of one's own humanity. Sonja Pikart is the winner of the Reinheimer Satirelöwens, the Austrian Cabaret Prize and the Scharfrichterbeil. On Friday 17 October, the Queenz of Piano return to the Bürgerhaus after 2014. With their unique blend of pop and classical music, they break musical boundaries and bring international flair to the stage - already celebrated in over 14 countries. A highlight of the theatre series awaits visitors on 6 December. The crime comedy "Achtsam morden" with the well-known actor Martin Lindow in the leading role provides suspense and uproarious laughter. On 11 December, the young Leipzig a cappella ensemble QUINTENSE will transform the Bürgerhaus into a musical wonderland. Classics such as White Christmas, Let It Snow and Jingle Bells will set the mood for the festive season. One of Europe's biggest tax scandals will be brought to the stage in the play "Geld.Gier.Macht" on Friday, 6 March 2026. Author Stefan Zimmermann turns the "Cum Ex case" into a gripping political thriller that couldn't be more topical. The well-known "hunter" Sebastian Klussmann from the ARD programme "gefragt - gejagt" will reveal his simple way to expand your own general knowledge to the Rodgau audience on Tuesday, 10 March 2026 - a must for all curious people. After successful performances in Munich, the musical "Sissi - closer than ever" will go on tour and make a guest appearance in Rodgau on Saturday, 11 April 2026. Sissi from a completely new perspective makes fans' hearts beat faster. Furzipups, the rattling dragon, conquers the stage at the Children's Theatre Days. A play full of fantasy, humour and courage for children aged 3 and over from 19 to 21 May 2026.
