The children's and youth farm offers children a natural and experiential space to discover and learn. To keep this offer alive, more nature lovers are needed. Volunteers are especially needed to help out on the farm Fridays from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm on the grounds on Finkenweg. Support is also needed in the mornings when day-care centres and school classes visit. Before, after or in between, helping with the grounds and garden maintenance is important. No special training is required here, but a connection to nature is a basic prerequisite. For committed people who would like to offer their support from home, this would be possible in maintaining the website and in the area of social media. Anyone interested in keeping members, friends and the curious informed about the latest news via Instagram or Facebook is also very welcome at the Children's and Youth Farm. We are looking for people who enjoy working with children and would like to get involved on a regular basis. Physical fitness is helpful for the farm activities and IT and social media skills for the digital area. A driving licence or personal mobility are desirable, but not essential. The city of Rodgau's volunteer exchange is also happy to advise on other fields of activity and support people who are interested in new volunteer tasks.
