A variety of art can be admired from 24 to 26 October in the Bürgerhaus Nieder-Roden, Römerstraße 15. RODGAU ART 25 showcases painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, graphics, digital art and much more. 75 artists will be exhibiting their works and are looking forward to a lively exchange of ideas this weekend. First City Councillor Janika Martin and Head of Cultural Affairs Winno Sahm will welcome visitors to the vernissage on Friday at 7 pm. Afterwards, Stephan Langer on bass and Georg Göb on piano will entertain the guests over drinks. Langer will also be on site as an exhibitor of sculptures. To bring the art closer to those interested, there will be a guided tour of the exhibition with Winno Sahm on Saturday at 4 pm and on Sunday at 3 pm. On Sunday at 11.30 a.m. there will be a workshop discussion with Winno Sahm and 2 Rodgau artists and a Rodgau artist. The topic is: Artistic work in Rodgau. One participant, Karl-Heinz Kalbhenn, is celebrating 60 years of exhibition activity this year, which has taken him far beyond the borders of Rodgau. On stage, Rodgau artist Gerd Steinle presents a retrospective of the last 40 years of his creative work. Some of the exhibitors have already been there in recent years and there are also many new artists, including some from Rodgau. There are surprisingly small-format works to discover in the hall, mythical photography and unusual ceramic forms in the foyer. Tattoo sketches and digital art stand alongside classical paintings, wooden artworks next to abstract paintings. The exhibition once again promises a wide range and variety for every taste. As always, the SOS Helferkreis will be catering for your physical well-being with excellent cakes and a hearty selection. The proceeds will once again go to SOS Children's Villages this year. The exhibition will be open on Friday until approx. 21:30. On Saturday from 14:00 to 19:00 and on Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00. Admission is free on all days. The art in pocket format offers a very high-quality catalogue, which can be purchased for 2 euros.
