Author and illustrator Robert Scheffner will be reading from his books "Rufus ist sauer" and "Hornbert ist süß" on 28 October from 3:30 pm at the Nieder-Roden public library. Children aged 4 and over can get in the mood for Halloween with Rufus the sweet and sour pumpkin and Hornbert the unicorn. Hornbert and Rufus set off together to save the spooky land. Admission is free, registration is requested. Registration is possible by telephone on 06106 693 1322, by e-mail to buecherei@rodgau.de or on site at the Nieder-Roden and Jügesheim libraries. After the reading, Robert Scheffner will paint and do handicrafts with the children. The event is part of the Literature Festival Leseland Hessen with the kind support of the Hessian Ministry of Science and Research, Art and Culture, the Sparkassen-Kulturstiftung Hessen-Thüringen and hr2 Kultur.
