The Nieder-Roden district office invites all citizens to take part in a hands-on campaign to beautify the district on Monday, 27 October from 10:00 to 12:00. The meeting point is the Nieder-Roden social centre. The aim of the campaign is to clear the public space of rubbish together - and at the same time make the work of the community work visible. Anyone who would like to get involved in keeping Nieder-Roden clean and liveable is very welcome. Rubbish bags, gloves and tongs will be provided - all you need to bring is weatherproof clothing and sturdy shoes. The neighbourhood office is particularly pleased about the announced participation of an 8th grade class from Heinrich-Böll-Schule. The pupils are taking part in the "Wir tun was" project. They are thus a strong symbol of civic engagement and a sense of responsibility among young people. With campaigns like this, the neighbourhood office provides important impetus for better coexistence. It creates space for ideas, encourages participation and facilitates encounters. In this way, Nieder-Roden is gradually becoming more lively and more connected. The district office is looking forward to many helping hands and interested neighbours.
