The town of Rodgau and the trade association Rodgau e.V. are organising the "10th Rodgau Advent Market" around the town hall and St. Nicholas Church from Wednesday, 26 November to Sunday, 30 November. In the course of this, the Vordergasse, Hintergasse and Kirchgasse will be affected by barriers and restrictions on the flow of traffic in the public car parks. In the Hintergasse, there will be significant restrictions on the parking of vehicles on public roads throughout the five days of the market. This applies in particular to the public parking spaces on Rathausplatz, which will be subject to absolute stopping bans from 7 a.m. on Tuesday, 25 November. As last year, the weekly market on Saturday mornings will be relocated in the section between the junction of Schwesternstraße and Rodgau Passage. The Hintergasse will therefore be fully closed in this section on Saturday from 5 am to 2 pm. However, access to Rodgau Passage from Weiskircher Straße will remain possible. Important: Parking spaces in this area will already be subject to an absolute stopping ban from 8 pm on 28 November to ensure that the weekly market stalls can access them unhindered on Saturday morning. The section of Vordergasse between the entrance to the Rathaus underground car park and the junction with Kirchgasse will be closed to through traffic at the following times: From 12 noon on Saturday, 29 November, until 10 pm on Sunday, 30 November. The car parks along this part of Vordergasse will also be closed or unusable during these periods. Kirchgasse will be completely closed to through traffic from Tuesday, 25 November, 8 a.m. to Monday, 1 December, 12 noon. Access to the residential groups in Haus Emmanuel and to Vordergasse 20 will be guaranteed, although it is recommended that you drive to and from each via Konrad-Kappler-Straße. Residents are requested to take precautions for the times mentioned in order to avoid inconvenience to themselves, visitors and customers. In this context, particular attention is drawn to the free public car parks in Mühlstraße and Ostring. The weekly market in Jügesheim on Saturday 29 November will therefore not take place on Rathausplatz, but in Hintergasse from 8 am to 1 pm.
