The town of Rodgau is once again organising a large town festival on Puiseauxplatz this year in cooperation with the "Zuhause im Zentrum" development programme. Together with hopefully many visitors from all over Rodgau and the surrounding area, this festival will be an unforgettable event of the year. On Friday, 23 May, at 19:30, FFH Dummfrager Boris Meinzer will be on stage with his new comedy programme. This event is organised by the Rodgau City Library in cooperation with the Department of Culture, Sport and Volunteering. Drinks will also be provided. The proceeds from the drinks will be donated to the Hospice am Wasserturm. Admission is free and in the event of rain, the event will be moved to the Bürgerhaus Nieder-Roden. The big town festival then starts on Saturday, 24 May, at 2 pm. As in the previous year, the public can expect a varied stage programme with music, dancing, singing, hands-on activities and much more, hopefully in glorious weather. Another highlight will be the live band "LIEBLINGSBAND" from 7.30 p.m., who will really heat up the audience once again. Food and drink will be provided by various clubs and institutions. There will be something for everyone on the club mile: delicious cocktails with handmade cheese and music, the obligatory bratwurst, chips and soft ice cream, wine from various regions and other culinary snacks and specialities. But there will also be plenty of fun. There will be a bouncy castle for the kids, and anyone who wants to can try their luck on various wheels of fortune or listen to a Kamishibai for the little ones in the library. The library is open on Saturday from 2 - 6 p.m. and welcomes all bookworms, young and old. Some associations will also be on site with information stands. On Sunday, 25 May, the town festival continues with a morning pint at 11 am and will officially end at 3 pm. The first part of the morning will be played by the Nieder-Roden Music Society, followed by various dance and other sports performances.
