Cultural highlights 2025/26 - advance booking starts on 1 August

Advance ticket sales for the new 2025/26 cultural season of the city of Rodgau will start on Friday, 1 August. The programme booklets will be distributed promptly to all households. The Department of Culture, Sport and Volunteering presents a total of 21 varied events - from cabaret and theatre to children's theatre. With a few exceptions, all events take place in the Bürgerhaus Nieder-Roden, Römerstraße 15, at 8 pm. The full programme with all dates and details can be viewed online at www.rodgau-theater.de. A little taster of what visitors can expect: The cabaret theatre "Die Distel" from Berlin brings social criticism from the capital, as always with its finger on the pulse, to Rodgau on Saturday, 15 November, in its current programme "SchMERZtherapie". Based on the bestseller and cinema film of the same name "Achtsam morden", the pitch-black comedy with Martin Lindow in the role of defence lawyer Björn Diemel celebrates its premiere in Rodgau on Saturday, 6 December. The winner of the Reinheim Satire Lion Sonja Pikart will be performing her programme "Halb Mensch" on Saturday, 20 September in the Bürgerhaus - witty, self-deprecating, with wonderful black humour and a lot of emotion.
Who doesn't know the story of the robber Hotzenplotz and Granny's coffee grinder? This lovingly staged classic for the whole family can be seen on Sunday, 11 January at 4 p.m. and is suitable for children aged 4 and over.Tickets for this and all other events are available from the Department of Culture, Sport and Volunteering at the Alte Apotheke, Schwesternstraße 10/corner of Ludwigstraße, as well as online at www.frankfurtticket.de.
