The municipal cleaning staff in Rodgau have once again shown that they have a big heart for their fellow human beings. This year's Tilly fundraising campaign raised an impressive 2,350 euros, which was handed over to Malteser Kinder- und Jugendhospizbegleitung. The donations were collected through numerous campaigns: In addition to the monthly contributions made by the cleaning staff to the Tilly donation box, the proceeds from a cake sale at the Jügesheim Advent market and donations from employees in the municipal facilities and kindergartens also contributed to the success. First City Councillor Janika Martin was delighted with the commitment of the cleaning staff: "The Tilly campaign is a wonderful example of solidarity in action. It is impressive how much commitment the employees put into this project." The money collected will benefit families with seriously ill or dying children or young people. The Malteser Children's and Youth Hospice Care Centre supports these families with a wide range of services and provides relief during this difficult time. The Tilly fundraising campaign was launched in January 2023 and has since become a permanent fixture for the city's cleaning staff. Daniela Göbel, coordinator of the children's hospice service: "We are overwhelmed by the generous support of the municipal cleaning staff. With this money, we can help many families and give them back a bit of normality." The town of Rodgau would like to thank everyone involved for their commitment and willingness to donate.
