rodgaucard as access authorisation
As already announced, the rodgaucard will take over the function of access authorisation for the recycling centre and composting plant from the turn of the year. This requires the number of your own residual waste bins to be linked to the card. This function has now been activated and the bin number can be entered under the profile data on the card. The rodgaucard must already be registered for this. If you have not already done so, you can register via the website www.rodgaucard.de in the online registration area.

It is important to include the leading zeros in the residual waste bin number. If you find this a little difficult, you can get helpful tips from information flyers as well as an explanatory video. The flyers with all the information are available from all participating points partners, at the town hall's citizen service centre, the customer service department of the municipal utility company and, of course, at the recycling centre and the composting plant. Extended services at the modernised recycling centre
Only with the new function of the rodgaucard is it possible to use the extended services of the modernised recycling centre. Once the new building is completed next year, recyclable waste fractions that could previously only be disposed of in neighbouring municipalities and by private service providers can be handed in here. This will not only make the rodgaucard more multifunctional, but also the recycling centre, resources will be conserved and Rodgau will also be modern and future-proof in this area.
Without Internet or e-mail address
There is also a solution with the rodgaucard for those who do not have an Internet or e-mail address: they can obtain their access authorisation to the recycling centre and composting plant via offline registration. Simply fill out the relevant form at the Citizens' Service Centre in the town hall or at the customer service department of the municipal utilities and enter the residual waste bin number. An identity card also authorises you to use the recycling centre and composting plant - but only if you live in Rodgau and do not wish to use the additional services.
