As every year, there will be some changes to the timetable change on 14 December 2025, including changes to the OF-40 city bus route. The next stop has always been announced, but some of them will soon be announced in a particularly charming way: In future, children's voices will be heard over the loudspeaker at school bus stops. The Freiherr-vom-Stein-Schule in Dudenhofen had this great idea, which the transport company was happy to realise. It therefore also provides the original sound for all school stops in Rodgau. The bus journey times are adapted to current demand. They will end at around 20:30 in the evening, i.e. 1 hour earlier than before. The so-called booster buses during school hours will continue to run as before. In future, the OF-40 will run every hour during school holidays. In future, the Hopper will be able to cover any individual transport requests that deviate from the timetable. It will, and this is new, be in operation throughout Rodgau during the day. In addition, new vehicles will gradually be deployed on the OF-40 line. A total of six buses will be integrated into the service. They will replace existing vehicles that need to be replaced due to their age. The new vehicles meet the latest technical standards. If everything goes according to plan, the Haingrabenbrücke bridge will also be open to traffic again at the end of the year. This means that the Jügesheim industrial estate can also be integrated back into regular operations.
