Statements with jute bags: Creative workshop in the public library

As part of the Intercultural Weeks in the Offenbach district, the Nieder-Roden public library is organising a special creative workshop. Under this year's motto "for this", participants can design their own jute bag and make a statement against racism, discrimination and misanthropy. The workshop will take place on 4 September from 6 pm. The design of the jute bags is all about diversity. With a large selection of materials such as markers, fabric colours and stencils, participants can give free rein to their creativity. Whether with predetermined motifs or completely individual ideas - the finished bag will be as unique as the person carrying it. The workshop will be led by Svetlana Olenik, a graduate designer and illustrator from Darmstadt. The programme is aimed at adults and young people aged 13 and over. The cost of the workshop is 15 euros per person. This amount covers all materials as well as drinks and snacks. As places are limited, early registration is requested. This can be done in person at the public library, by telephone on 06106 693 1322 or by email to buecherei@rodgau.de. The Rodgau public library is looking forward to welcoming many creative minds who will make their own personal statement in favour of diversity.
