A total of 150 years together is a very good reason to organise a big celebration, to which AGV Volkschor e.V. and the town of Rodgau cordially invite you. On the second weekend in May, the Dudenhofen community centre and its forecourt will be the venue for the anniversaries of "50 years of twinning Rodgau with Nieuwpoort (Belgium)" and "100 years of AGV Volkschor Dudenhofen e.V.". The academic celebration on Friday evening, 9 May, in the Dudenhofen community centre at 7 pm marks the start of the festivities. In keeping with Europe Week and in commemoration of Europe Day, the twinning certificates will be renewed with the guests from the 4 twin towns. An atmospheric evening with a musical programme is planned, supported by the mandolin orchestra and solo singer Rudolf Vogl. The jubilarians of the AGV Volkschor Dudenhofen e.V. will of course open the event with a serenade. The big anniversary celebration will then take place on Saturday, 10 May, with musical and culinary delicacies from 11 a.m. on the forecourt of the Bürgerhaus Dudenhofen. With the participation of local clubs, the festival offers a varied stage programme for young and old. From dancing to music and a great atmosphere, everything is included. The live band "Frisco" will perform from 19:30 to round off the event. Food and drink will also be provided by various organisations. On the culinary mile directly in front of the community centre you will find delicious waffles and crepes, Handkäs with music, sausages and chips, Bavarian delicacies, wine from various regions, a tasty aperitif from Belgium and other culinary specialities to suit every taste. Jubilees and organisers are looking forward
