Young visitors to the Nieder-Roden public library can look forward to a very special experience on Friday, 25 April at 3.30 pm. Two firefighters will be guests at the family afternoon. They will talk about their exciting work and answer questions from inquisitive children. What equipment does a firefighter need and how much does it weigh? How quickly is the fire brigade ready for action? What is the best way to extinguish a fire and how do you become a firefighter? The experts from the Rodgau fire brigade know all about it and are happy to provide information. A suitable picture book cinema will also be shown on this day and read by firefighter Janine Ackermann. The event is free of charge and suitable for children aged 4 and over.
