Transparent decision-making, more co-determination and direct citizen participation - this is what the city of Rodgau wants to achieve with its new digital participation platform. With a wide range of options such as surveys and their results, the collection of suggestions and ideas, discussions and information on various projects, the dialogue between citizens and the administration is to be sustainably improved. In future, the platform will serve as a central point of contact for voluntary, digital participation formats of various kinds, providing a simple, low-threshold opportunity to actively participate in the future and the urban development process - a further step towards modern and participatory urban development. The platform is now available online at www.rodgau.de/mitmachen. A survey on the new "Rediscovering streets" project can be found there at the start of the site. The city wants to use it to collect feedback and impressions about the temporary street furniture. In addition to the survey, the site also contains the results of the mobility survey that was conducted at the beginning of the year. Over the coming weeks and months, the platform will be successively filled with further information. All citizens are invited to take a first look at the participation platform and take part in the survey.
