As part of the Erasmus+ stay, First City Councillor Janika Martin welcomed a group of French pupils from the Lycee LGT Baimbridge in Guadeloupe to the town hall on 24 September. The visit is part of a larger supporting programme planned by Alicia Ellenberger, teacher and Erasmus+ coordinator at the Georg Büchner School. The programme also includes excursions to Seligenstadt and Frankfurt am Main as well as a joint trip to the Rodgau forest with Nabu-Rodgau. Sustainability and environmental awareness are at the centre of the programme. The project is part of the Erasmus+ programme in which the Georg Büchner School participates. The return visit by the German pupils is planned for January 2025.
