Young people from the Offenbach district who do not yet have a concrete plan for their professional future now have the opportunity to secure one of the last free places in the "Rodgau 16plus" career guidance project. The project is aimed at school leavers who have not yet been able to find an apprenticeship or are still unsure about which career path they would like to take. Whether due to an unsuccessful application process, because the desired training place has already been filled, or because a decision about their professional future has yet to be made - "Rodgau 16plus" offers young people practical support to help them find their bearings. Participants can gain practical experience in various areas such as trades, childcare, outpatient care or administration. The project offers young people the chance to try out different professional fields without pressure and gain valuable qualifications for their future career. Participants are supported in discovering their strengths and making well-founded decisions for their professional future. In addition to the practical assignments, participants can also expect comprehensive application training to help them prepare professional application documents and practise job interviews. A vocational school day is also part of the programme to increase the chances of a successful apprenticeship. The project is aimed at young people aged 16 and over who live in the Offenbach district and have already completed their compulsory schooling. An expense allowance is paid for participation and the cost of the Hesse-wide student ticket is covered. Anyone interested should not hesitate to apply for the last available places. Project manager Franziska Wenzel will be happy to answer any questions on 06106 693-1236 and social education worker Meik Hoch on 06106 693-1264. Applications, including a CV and most recent school reports, can be sent by email to 16plus@rodgau.de.
