Various lantern processions make the evenings in Rodgau a little brighter. The procession starts on Tuesday, 5 November: Kita 10 will be out and about from 5 to 6 p.m. and starts at the Weichsee sports centre car park, runs along the field path west of Rodgau-Ring-Straße, crosses Rodgau-Ring-Straße in the area of the pedestrian protection system, Kasseler Straße, Eugen-Roth-Straße, Franz-Kafka-Straße, Carl-von-Ossietzky-Straße and back to Kita 10. The Kita 10 procession will also be out and about on Wednesday, 6 November and Thursday, 7 November from 5 to 6 p.m.. Kita 7 will be on the road on Thursday, 7 November from 6 to 7 p.m. and will start at the daycare centre in Robert-Koch-Straße and run via Hans-Sachs-Straße, Rochusstraße, S-Bahn subway and Helixpark to the retirement home in Hannah-Arendt-Straße. Kita 5 is on Thursday, 7 November from 17:30 to 18:15 and starts at the Kita and runs via the crossing Römerstraße, the footpath along the Rodau to Einsteinstraße Kita, Einsteinstraße, left into Breitwiesenring, to the connecting path to the Rodau, footpath along the Rodau, crossing Römerstraße and back to the Kita. Kita 2 will be out and about on Thursday, 7 November from 5 to 5:45 p.m. and will walk from Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße to the right along the Rodau footpath via Bleichstraße and back to Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße. The young Catholic community will be walking on Friday, 8 November from 5:30 to 7 pm from the Protestant church in Dudenhofen, via Kirchstraße, Karlstraße, Dr.-Weinholz-Straße, Friedberger Straße, Goethestraße, Merianstraße, Feldstraße to the Catholic church of St. Marien. Also on Friday from 17:30 to 18:30, the RodauStörche daycare centre will be on the move from the daycare centre via Hauptstraße and Brückenstraße back to Haupstraße and back to the daycare centre. In Nieder-Roden, the Martinmas procession will take place on 9 November from 17:15 to 18:15 from the St. Matthias Catholic Church via Turmstraße, Ober-Rodener-Straße, Krümmlingsweg, over the railway crossing, Rodensteinstraße and to Puiseauxplatz. The KJG will also be walking in Jügesheim on Sunday, 10 November from 5:30 to 7 p.m. from Berliner Straße Evangelische Emmausgemeinde, via Kasseler Straße, Westring, Friedlandstraße, pedestrian subway Bahnhof, Eisenbahnstraße, Konrad-Kappler-Straße, Vordergasse, Katholische Kirche St. Nikolaus to the courtyard behind the Haus der Begegnung. On Monday, 11 November from 5.30 to 6.30 p.m., the children of the Catholic parish of St. Peter will be walking in chains in Weiskirchen. The procession starts at the Sonnenau daycare centre and travels via Werrastraße, Albert-Rißberger-Straße, Karl-Sattler-Straße, Donaustraße and Werrastraße back to the daycare centre. Kita 9 will also be out and about on Monday, 11 November from 17:15 to 18:15 and will start in Friedensstraße 4-6 at the Johanniter Quartier. Also on Monday, 11 November from 16:45 to 17:45, Kita 19 in Jügesheim starts at Finkenweg and runs via Hans-Sachs-Str. right Feldweg Der Waag, verlängerte Weiskicher Straße, right Feldweg Die unteren Wiesen, Egerstraße, and back to Finkenweg. Daycare 6 will be on the road on Monday, 11 November from 17:20 to 18:20 and will run from the public playground in Rhönstraße via Rhönstraße, Am Kreuzberg, Taunusstraße, Lahnstraße, Seniorenheim, Isarstraße, Am Mühlfeldchen and back to the playground. Kita 3 is on Monday, 11 November from 17:30 to 18:30 and runs from Kita 3 through the Herbert-Klee-Weg subway, the Geflügelzuchtverein car park and back to the subway and ends back at Kita 3. The Evangelische Emmausgemeinde is on Wednesday, 13 November from 17 to 18 and runs from Berliner Straße via Wilhelm-Busch-Straße, Christian-Morgenstern-Straße, Franz-Kafka-Straße, Eugen-Roth-Straße, Kasseler Straße and back to Berliner Straße. The Frauenzimmer Rodgau will be on the road on Friday, 15 November from 5 to 6 pm from Martin-Bihn-Straße via Stichweg, Neue Straße, Eppsteiner Straße, Frankenstraße, Auf dem Brühl, Heinrich-Sahm-Straße and Eppsteiner Straße. The DrachenHorst daycare centre will be out and about on Friday, 15 November from 17:30 to 18:45 and will run from the daycare centre via Hannah-Arendt-Straße, Helixpark, Hannah-Arendt-Straße and back to the daycare centre. All trains will move along the pavement or the right-hand side of the road and will be secured by stewards. Drivers are asked to be particularly attentive and to avoid the train routes during the specified times if possible.
