Christoph Sieber - Carry on!

After a six-month break, Christoph Sieber is finally back on tour. And that's a good thing. On Friday, 15 November at 8 pm, he will be performing his new programme "Weitermachen!" at the Bürgerhaus Nieder-Roden, Römerstraße 15. The world is full of catastrophic news and it is right and important that someone speaks out against the madness. In a world of doomsday scenarios, Sieber makes it clear: hope dies last. Humour wins out in the end. Giving up is not an option. Many people called out to him at the end of his last programme: Mr Sieber, please carry on! And all he kept saying was: I can't help it. What else can we do but carry on? Carry on" is about us. About the trials and tribulations of society, about cohesion and what divides us. As always, Christoph Sieber combines topical political cabaret with the big issues of our time: football, politics, society and the question of why naked moles so rarely go shopping. All of this is embellished with singing, dancing and a whole host of characters taken from real life. There is a reunion with baker Häberle, charity Dieter and Sieber's long-lost brother finally has his say. Not only those who appreciate Sieber from television should definitely experience him live. Because there's nothing that makes political cabaret more special than laughing, complaining and crying together and then drinking a beer together in the foyer afterwards in the knowledge that the show will go on: It goes on. Life is too serious not to laugh about it. True to the motto: you have to laugh so that it sticks in your throat. And who, if not Sieber, could counter the general rumblings of doom with his vision: The end of the world! Advance tickets from 19 euros are available at the Agentur für Kultur, Sport und Ehrenamt in the Alte Apotheke, Schwesternstraße 10 and online at www.frankfurtticket.de. Remaining tickets can be purchased at the box office from 7 pm.
