Gert Schmalenbach has died at the age of 77. The deceased was a member of the Jügesheim local council for the SPD from April 2001 to March 2016. As a local councillor, he worked closely with the people and his district. Gert Schmalenbach became a member of the town council in February 2011 until the end of the legislative period.
