The "Clean Rodgau" spring cleaning campaign organised by the Rodgau municipal utility company was once again a complete success this year. From 15 March to 30 April, a total of 15 groups with around 195 participants took part to rid the environment of carelessly discarded waste. Empty drinks bottles and cans, packaging, paper handkerchiefs, chewing gum, cigarette butts, dog waste bags and household rubbish do not belong in nature, but in the bin. Even the little ones learn this at Clean Rodgau. Six daycare centre groups took part and learned how easy it is to do something for a clean environment. Environmental protection starts with each individual and concerns everyone. That is why the Hessian Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection, Agriculture and Consumer Protection, the Förderverein Sauberhaftes Hessen e. V. (Clean Hesse Association) and the Rodgau municipal utility company are strengthening civic engagement and environmental awareness with the "Clean Rodgau" campaign.
