The election notifications for the European elections on 9 June have been sent out nationwide and should have been received by everyone by 20 May at the latest. In individual cases, however, some citizens may not have received the letters for various reasons. However, the polling card is not absolutely necessary for voting. Anyone who has not yet received their voter's notification or has lost it can present their identity card or passport at the polling station - eligible voters from other European Union countries can show their identity card. Without a polling card, however, there is no information on the polling districts and polling stations. These are all listed in the election notice, which can also be found on the homepage of the city of Rodgau at www.rodgau.de. Anyone who does not have a polling card should therefore enquire with the electoral authority of the city of Rodgau as a precaution and without delay whether they are registered on the electoral roll and in which polling station they can vote. It is best to send an enquiry by email to wahlen@rodgau.de. Anyone who is not at home on 9 June or would prefer to vote at home for other reasons can cast their vote by post. To do this, you must apply to the Rodgau municipal administration for a so-called polling card. This can be done in person, in writing (letter, fax and e-mail) or online at www.rodgau.de.
