The Agency for Culture, Sport and Volunteering is still looking for young people who would like to share their creativity and show it to others for JugendART. JugendART 24 will take place for the 11th time on Saturday, 8 June from 4-7 pm and on Sunday, 9 June from 2-5 pm at the Jugendhaus Rodgau-Dudenhofen, Freiherr-vom-Stein-Str 8. At this colourful event, the Agency for Culture, Sport and Volunteering and the team from the youth centre will be presenting fine art and sculptures, creative activities such as music, dance and poetry on stage. There will be hands-on workshops in the outdoor area. The Georg Büchner School with art projects and the ART13 association from Hanau have already confirmed their participation. This organisation will be showing pictures by Ukrainian children who are currently taking painting courses to come to terms with their experiences of war. Anyone who enjoys painting, drawing, dancing, singing or playing an instrument can present their ideas to Karina Emmerich or Gabriele Ziegler at the Agency for Culture, Sport and Volunteering on 06106-693-1226 or -1221 or send an email to kultur@rodgau.de. People who would like to offer a creative workshop on this weekend can also get in touch. The staff at the youth centre are also open to suggestions. The team at the youth centre has been strengthened since last summer. In addition to Markus Pieper, who has been helping to organise JugendART for several years, Carolin Grabs has joined the team. She managed an adventure playground in Ludwigshafen for over five years and is now continuing to pursue her vocation of open work with children and young people in Rodgau. The youth centre as a venue is a decisive factor in the success of JugendART. The rooms are bright and appealing, the outdoor area is ideal for the workshops and invites you to linger.
