As we get older, our energy and nutrient requirements change, as does our sense of taste, thirst and much more. With a varied diet, you can help to ensure that you are well supplied with nutrients and remain physically and mentally fit. In her lecture, Kerstin Gärtner, an expert from the Hessen Consumer Centre, will talk about eating and drinking to maintain health in old age, the body's nutrient and vitamin requirements and which foods you can use to cover these, whether dietary supplements help with complaints and what the terms in the list of ingredients mean. The lecture will take place on 20 March, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., in the town hall, Stadtverordnetensitzungssaal, Hintergasse 15, 63110 Rodgau. Attendance is free of charge. Registration is not required. Information about the lecture is available from the municipal senior citizens' counsellor, Tina Taffet, on 06106 693 - 1233 or senioren@rodgau.de.
