Once again this year, the community work of the city of Rodgau is presenting the group Protagon e.V. with their play "Ashes" on 15 June at 9 pm in Nieder-Roden on Puiseauxplatz. At the centre of the performance is a multicultural and communal message that raises questions about identity, home, community and culture. In "Ashes", the street artists portray the coexistence of people with the help of traditional songs and choreography, wordless theatre, puppet and mask play as well as live music from the antagon band. The one-hour play deals with the theme that connects all people across cultures: What remains when only ashes are left? Songs, dances and rituals tell the story of what makes people human. After the performance, there will be an opportunity to take part in a moderated discussion. Admission is free.
