On behalf of the city of Rodgau, around 20 integration guides work on a voluntary basis to support refugees during their integration process. These dedicated citizens offer valuable help by providing advice and guidance, support in everyday life and the teaching of cultural skills. The integration guides are there for the refugees and help them to find their feet in their new environment. They support them with bureaucratic matters and are on hand if they need help. They also promote understanding of cultural differences and thus contribute to harmonious coexistence in our city. The integration guides receive a small allowance from the town of Rodgau for their tireless efforts and valuable support. As a sign of recognition and appreciation for their voluntary work, the city also gives the integration guides a Rodgau Card with a starting credit of €10. Nidhel Al Bahar (right) and Sofia Sanjeeda (left) accepted the RodgauCards from First City Councillor Janika Martin and Till Hoffmann from Municipal Education Management on behalf of the 20 or so integration guides. The card offers numerous discounts and benefits with local partners and is intended to show the volunteers how much their commitment is appreciated. The town of Rodgau is very grateful for the voluntary work of its citizens. We would like to thank the integration guides for their important contribution to social cohesion in our town.
