Job & Grill 2024 Review

Bright sunshine, delicious food from the barbecue and, above all, the opportunity to talk to potential employers: The "Job&Grill 2024" at the Dudenhofen youth centre was a complete success. Around 80 young people took the opportunity to find out about training and career opportunities from 14 companies and institutions in the region on 25 June from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. "The young people were able to talk to the trainers and ask their questions in a relaxed atmosphere," said a delighted Janika Martin, a city councillor who opened the event together with Paula Roth-Silva from the municipal education management team. "It was great to see how quickly contacts were made and how interested the young people were in what the companies had to offer." The companies and institutions from the region were also very satisfied with the event. "We were able to hold many interesting discussions with potential trainees and present our companies," said a representative of one of the participating companies. In addition to discussions with the training centres, there was also the opportunity to find out about the career guidance and youth welfare services on offer. Delicious sausages from the barbecue were provided. The aim of the event is to make it easier for young people to enter the world of work and to show them the variety of training and career opportunities in the region.
