The photo of the year and the best pictures from the three subject areas "Land and People", "Environment and Climate" and "Sport and Leisure" will be on display on the glass walls of the meeting room and foyer of the town hall from 26 July to 23 August. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday 26 July at 3 pm in front of the entrance to the parliament wing. The member of the selection jury Axel Häsler - aerial photographer from the Main-Kinzig district - and city councillor Winno Sahm will speak. All citizens are welcome to attend. The presentation of the selection of the competition organised by the German Journalists' Association of Hesse clearly shows what an indispensable and attractive part of press reporting photos are. In combination with texts - which are also part of the exhibition in short form - a visual-linguistic narrative is created that turns testimonies of events into stories that can be relived. This can now be viewed around the clock for four weeks at the town hall.
