Every year, and this year for the 28th time, the Rodgau Education Fair will take place on Saturday, 17 February, from 10 am to 3 pm in the sports hall and the Heinrich-Böll-Schule, Wiesbadener Straße. The fair is aimed at young people and those interested in education who want to find out about different educational paths and opportunities. Over 120 exhibitors from the fields of schools, universities, careers and further education will be presenting their programmes and answering questions. Technological and structural change is altering job profiles, requirements and standards. Advancing digitalisation has far-reaching effects on the world of work. What qualifications will be needed in the future? The exhibitors at the education fair support pupils and, of course, school leavers in their choices and provide information and answer questions. They would like to provide assistance in making the right career decision. For those who are already in professional life, further education and training providers will provide information about the wide range of opportunities to gain further qualifications. Visitors can find out about various topics such as training, studying, internships, voluntary service, language holidays, stays abroad and much more at the exhibitors' stands. The Heinrich-Böll-Schule will be hosting numerous specialised presentations on a wide range of topics. There will also be a varied supporting programme with advice and activities. In the outdoor area, for example, the German Armed Forces truck, the prison mobile and Rodgau's public utility company will be exhibiting. In addition to the regular exhibitors, numerous new companies have also applied for an exhibition space this year. The Rodgau Education Fair is an ideal opportunity to gain an overview of the various educational programmes on offer, make contacts and be inspired. Admission is free and registration is not required.
