Initiated by the community work office, the first district meeting took place on 25 January in the Nieder-Roden social centre. The aim was to collect the concerns of local people and active associations. It was also about networking those already active in Nieder-Roden with other stakeholders. The open invitation was accepted by 20 interested citizens, associations and institutions that are active in Nieder-Roden or would like to become active. It was important to all visitors to improve coexistence in Nieder-Roden. The first meeting generated a great deal of interest in providing different opportunities for residents to come together. The topic of cleanliness and safety in Nieder-Roden should also be focussed on. Working groups could not yet be formed at this meeting. The next meeting will take place on 7 March from 6 to 8 pm. These topics will be discussed in greater depth and opportunities for coexistence in Nieder-Roden will be further developed. Communication will initially take place via a monthly e-mail newsletter.
