Aldermen wanted for the local courts in Jügesheim and Hainhausen

In the local court districts of Jügesheim and Hainhausen, the position of a lay judge is to be filled in each case. As a rule, the term of office is 10 years. The work as a lay judge is performed on an honorary basis. The duties of the local courts consist of the certification of signatures and copies, the issuing of death notifications, the securing of estates, co-operation in the determination and maintenance of property boundaries and the valuation of land. The personal requirements for appointment as a lay judge are as follows: The person should enjoy general trust and be experienced and of good character. They should be familiar with the valuation of property. They must reside in the district of the respective local court. He or she must not be engaged in the business of handling the legal affairs of others and must not be admitted as a lawyer or notary. Interested candidates should apply in writing by 24 January with a CV and details of their professional qualifications and a police clearance certificate not older than three months.
