Until the end of October, seating combinations, planter boxes and bicycle parking facilities will change the familiar streetscape at three locations in Hainhausen, Jügesheim and Nieder-Roden. The furniture in Offenbacher Landstraße, Hintergasse and Untere Marktstraße invites you to discover and try things out. It is part of the "Rediscovering streets" initiative, a joint project by the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport, Housing and Rural Areas and other local authorities as part of the Hesse Local Mobility Working Group. The aim is to improve the quality of life in suitable areas and to strengthen pedestrian traffic locally. In this way, new meeting spaces could be created. The city can use the furniture free of charge and bears the costs for planting and maintenance. The people of Rodgau are cordially invited to actively use the temporary street furniture and perhaps experience the areas differently than before.
