The Rodgau Senior Cinema will be showing the romantic comedy starring Renée Zellweger and Hugh Grant on Friday, 3 May at 3 pm. There may be people who are single by conviction, but Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) is not one of them. Now over 30, she wants to finally welcome a man into her life. But that's easier said than done. After all, Bridget's overweight and her unsuccessful love life so far mean she doesn't have much self-confidence. So she tries to change a few things to finally get the right man interested in her. She needs to lose the excess weight and quit smoking. To make matters worse, her mother (Gemma Jones) wants Bridget and the lawyer Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) to get closer. But Bridget has no interest in the boring-looking man and instead prefers to make a pass at her boss, the cheeky and charming Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant). The Rodgau senior cinema takes place in the Kronen Lichtspiele, Hochstädter Str. 11-13. Admission costs €7. The cinema on Hochstädter Straße is air-conditioned, but unfortunately not barrier-free. The stairs must be negotiated independently. The cinema can be easily reached from all parts of the city with the city bus line OF 40. The bus stop "Hochstädter Straße" is located directly in front of the cinema. Interested younger people are also very welcome.
