The team at the Rodgau stand pool will be starting the new season on 4 May with optimism.
There is good news for all visitors to the naturist area this season. The entire sanitary container was renovated during the "winter break". There are now also three additional awnings. Two of these are for the textile area and one for the naturist area. In addition, the entrance is now also equipped with a turnstile. A varied programme has once again been put together for the launch event. At 11 a.m., the event traditionally starts with the DLRG participants being honoured for the badges they have achieved. Afterwards, a few brave DLRG members will give the official starting signal for the swimming season by jumping into the still cool water. The DLRG also offers a boat trip across the lake. One of the highlights of the day is sure to be the magician Abraxas. The Dudenhofen youth centre and daycare centres 9, 18 and 19 will be offering a craft stall where gym bags can be spray-painted. Young visitors can have their faces painted all day long, go "gold digging" or have books read to them in the "book island". Children can let off steam in the bouncy castle. The Aiolos Rodgau kite club will also be visiting. Want to go over the water? Almost anything is possible at the lido opening: with free stand-up paddling and water-walk balls. The swimming buoys can also be borrowed free of charge again this year. As well as plenty of food options at the kiosk, guests can also enjoy a variety of ice creams from the mobile ice cream van at the "Ciao Ciao" ice cream parlour. The guys from "Weinomat" will also be on hand with delicious wines for the adults. From 6 pm, the opening will be moved to the "terrace". In addition to live music from the "2sotypen", DJ AlexStadler will ensure a good atmosphere and will also kick off the "House am See" series. As in previous years, tickets are also available online at Strandbad Rodgau. The After Work Music and the House am See will also take place again this year. The first After Work Music event will take place on 26 June.
