Would you like to gain practical experience in working with children? Our 17 municipal daycare centres with U3 and Ü3 areas offer you the best opportunities. During your training, in addition to the theoretical content at school, you will learn about the various tasks that await you in the day-to-day running of a daycare centre.


Training content

  • Accompanying and supporting children in their individual development
  • Observation of the children's development processes
  • Support in caring for children in fixed reference groups
  • Independent assumption of housekeeping tasks
  • Educational support in the mealtime situation, e.g. independent supervision during breakfast

Right from the start, you will receive a salary in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and a corresponding holiday entitlement during non-teaching periods.

Throughout the entire training period, your instructors will be there to support you and help you with exam preparation as well as stage fright and exam anxiety so that you can achieve the best possible qualification.
