Dear fellow human beings,

Since June 2016, I have been responsible for Department III (Sport and Culture) as an honorary member of Rodgau City Council. Cooperation with Rodgau's clubs, art and theatre events, festivals, promotion of voluntary activities, the Rodgau lido and much more fill the list of tasks. This municipal organisational unit is housed in the listed former pharmacy in Rodgau-Jügesheim.

Born in Offenbach City Hospital in 1950, I have spent my entire life in what is now Rodgau. A qualified psychologist by profession with many years in university research, for decades I have devoted a considerable amount of my time to literature, art, regional history and local politics - also as a course leader, lecturer and speaker. I am guided by an emancipatory view of humanity, which considers knowledge and education to be central prerequisites for a self-responsible, socially sensitive, freedom-loving lifestyle. Enabling everyone in an open, democratic society to experience and develop accordingly is the overriding goal to which I hope to contribute with my actions.

Our town of Rodgau should be a place of respectful and interested co-operation, of positive appreciation of diversity, of the joy of doing and experiencing. I hope you can make such experiences with us.
