Greeting from the Mayor Max Breitenbach

Dear citizens,

Welcome to my introduction page!

My name is Max Breitenbach and since June 2022 I have been the mayor of the most beautiful town far and wide - Rodgau. I was born on 11 March 1991 in Offenbach am Main. I grew up in Rodgau, first in Jügesheim and later in Weiskirchen. I attended the Münchhausen School in Hainhausen and graduated from the Franziskaner-Gymnasium Kreuzburg in Großkrotzenburg.

My hobby has been music since I was a child. I first learnt to play the trumpet and later the trombone in the Weiskirchen Music Society. My love of music also led me to my first career aspiration of becoming a professional musician.

After graduating from high school, I moved to Berlin to study music. However, I soon realised that this decision was a mistake, but it taught me a lot and made me the person I am today.

Back in Rodgau, I completed a dual Bachelor's degree in the service of the state capital of Wiesbaden and began my professional career as a clerk at the municipal job centre in Wiesbaden. Alongside this, I studied for a Master's degree in Public Management, which I also successfully completed.

Since my return from Berlin, I have not only volunteered in several clubs and the Weiskirchen local association community, but have also become politically active. In the 2016 local elections, I became a member of the Rodgau municipal council and the Offenbach district council. I am still a member of the district council today.

Today, I am the mayor of our city and I am grateful for the opportunity to pursue my passion, the further development of our city, together with you every day.
