Start of a construction project

Before starting a building project, we are happy to advise you on what is important and what you need to pay attention to. You want:

  • extend, convert, expand or build from scratch?
  • repurpose a building or parts of a building?
  • Buying or selling a plot of land and want to know how a plot can be built on?

Clarification of planning issues

There are no costs for the consultation. We will be happy to help you with any questions about your building project:

  • Advice on the buildability of properties
  • Supporting clients, planners and architects in complying with local building regulations, development plans, parking space regulations and other building regulations
  • Examination of the documents for urban planning justifiability
  • Advice on possible exemptions from the provisions of the development plan, etc.
  • Tips and information about building permits, which must be applied for or are issued by the building inspectorate of the Offenbach district based in the district building in Dietzenbach.
  • Advice on projects not requiring planning permission

Important information
Even if you fulfil the requirements for a project that does not require planning permission and your project does not require planning permission in accordance with the Hessian Building Code, you must carefully check compliance with all public law regulations (such as boundary distances, clearance areas, fire protection, etc.).
Furthermore, despite not requiring planning permission, separate applications to the authorities may still be necessary, such as in the case of a deviation from the Hessian Building Code (HBO) or an exemption from the provisions of a valid development plan.
