Parish nurse

For older people who wish to live independently in their familiar home environment, the community carer acts as an interface to establish contacts:

  • Doctors
  • Insurances
  • Authorities
  • Care service providers
  • Meals on wheels
  • other contact persons

This also enables senior citizens to participate more in local social and cultural life.

She is there for senior citizens when they have problems, are lonely or simply want to listen. As a community carer, she also has access to the large and diverse network of the city's work with senior citizens and is therefore able to arrange needs-based care and support services. The community carer does not carry out any caring activities herself.
