Would you like to visit us with your school class or kindergarten group? We have the right programme for children and young people of all ages: We customise the tour according to the needs of your class! Whether it's research training, scientific citation and source evaluation for older pupils, library rallies and picture book cinemas for younger schoolchildren. Songs and finger plays with the book gnomes for the little ones. In addition, every interested pupil receives a free library card. Simply register for a guided tour.

  • Media and more for school classes and daycare groups

    Books or magazines, audio plays, Tonies, TipToi pens or films: Our media boxes are customised for each topic and for children of all ages and are ready for you in the libraries in Jügesheim or Nieder-Roden within a week of ordering. Ideal for projects or theme weeks. But also for expanding your own media stock in the school class or day-care centre group. The media boxes can also be collected outside opening hours by appointment. You can order your personalised media box online under Order a media box.

    We also offer Kamishibais with matching picture cards and a giant Jenga for your institution. You can also use the interlibrary loan service to borrow specialised media that the public library does not have in stock.

    In our online Brockhaus student training programme, students can improve their grades in German, English, French, Latin and maths. The service is free to use with a library card. With the library card, pupils can access the Brockhaus Children's and Young People's Encyclopaedia online.

    Die Räumlichkeiten der Bücherei bieten eine gute Abwechslung für den Unterrichtsalltag. Hier können Schulklassen an Referaten arbeiten oder Plakate u.ä. erstellen. Die Stadtbibliothek in Nieder-Roden verfügt über Arbeitsplätze, Beamer und Leinwand. Auch erstes Programmieren lernen mit dem Bee Bot-Klassensatz ist in der Stadtbücherei möglich.

  • Bee Bot class set

    Bee-Bot is a small educational robot in the design of a bee. Children learn the basic programming logic in a playful way. The class set consists of six programmable bees with a charging station, instructions, programming cards and various running mats. The system is suitable for children aged 4 and over.

  • MAKER boxes for the classroom

    We offer special boxes for lessons on the topics of space, nature, renewable energies and much more. The boxes contain various media and construction kits or research sets.

  • Sofatutor licences for pupils

    All pupils with a valid library card can generate a Sofatutor licence free of charge.
