No training place? No plan? No problem!

Finished school, but didn't manage to find an apprenticeship? Don't panic - many people do! Maybe your school report wasn't good enough, the secondary school has cancelled or you simply don't have a plan yet for what you actually want to do. Sometimes life gets in the way - personal challenges, uncertainty or simply the question:

  • "What do I actually want to learn?"
  • "Which profession suits me?"
  • "How do I write a good application?"

If you are asking yourself exactly these questions, then the Rodgau 16plus project could be just the right thing for you!

  • What is Rodgau 16plus?

    Hier kann man bis zu einem Jahr lang arbeiten, neue berufliche Erfahrungen sammeln und herausfinden, welcher Weg passt. Der Teilnehmende bekommt Unterstützung, um eine Chance auf eine Ausbildung zu verbessern – mit Bewerbungstraining, Mathe- und Deutschunterricht und vor allem praktischer Arbeitserfahrung. Und das Beste: Teilnehmende bekommen Geld für ihre Teilnahme!

  • Who can take part?

    Anyone between the ages of 16 and 27 who has completed their ten years of compulsory schooling and currently has no job or apprenticeship.

  • What options are there?

    Participants work 35 hours a week in an area that suits them - for example:

    ✔ Trades: gardening and landscaping, painting, carpentry, electrics
    ✔ Childcare: support in daycare centres
    ✔ Social work: working in outpatient care
    ✔ Administration: insights into office work & organisation

    Vor dem Start findet ein Gespräch mit der Projektleitung statt, um herauszufinden, welche Tätigkeit in Frage kommt. So bekommt jeder individuell genau die Unterstützung, die gebraucht wird!
