Rodgau 16plus

No training place? No plan? No problem!

Finished school, but didn't manage to find an apprenticeship? Don't panic - many people do! Maybe your school report wasn't good enough, the secondary school has cancelled or you simply don't have a plan yet for what you actually want to do. Sometimes life gets in the way - personal challenges, uncertainty or simply the question:

  • "What skills do I have?"
  • "What do I actually want to learn?"
  • "Which profession suits me?"
  • "How do I write a good application?"

If you are asking yourself exactly these questions, then the Rodgau 16plus project could be just the right thing for you!

  • What is Rodgau 16plus?

Here you can work for up to a year, gain new professional experience and find out which path suits you best. Participants receive support to improve their chances of finding an apprenticeship - with application training, maths and German lessons and, above all, practical work experience. And best of all: participants receive money for their participation!

  • Who can take part?

Anyone between the ages of 16 and 27 who has completed their ten years of compulsory schooling and currently has no job or apprenticeship.

  • What options are there?

Participants work 35 hours a week in an area that suits them - for example:

Trades: gardening and landscaping, painting, carpentry, electrics
    Childcare: support in daycare centres
Social work: working in outpatient care
Administration: insights into office work & organisation

Before the start, there is an interview with the project manager to find out which activity is suitable. This ensures that everyone gets exactly the support they need!
