Advent in the parish garden

The Freunde der Kirche St. Nikolaus e. V., together with the St. Nikolaus daycare centre, the parish garden team and the Giesemer Minis, cordially invite you to Advent in the parish garden.

On the occasion of the patron saint's festival, a colourful programme for young and old awaits you on Saturday, 6 December 2025, from 2 pm: Enjoy mulled wine, cocoa and savoury and sweet treats in a cosy atmosphere.
At 3.30 pm, the daycare centre invites you to sing Advent carols together in the church before St Nicholas himself visits us at 4.30 pm.

A special highlight from the past year is of course not to be missed: From 5.30pm, Advent melodies will ring out from the bell tower, played by the brass band.

After the festive church service at 6.30 pm, the day comes to a contemplative close in the atmospherically lit parish garden.
