The Department of Land Management, Environment and Geodata Services manages all aspects of municipal land ownership, organises the geodata in the city of Rodgau's Geographic Information System (GIS) and is responsible for safeguarding the environmental media of soil and air, in particular the recording and evaluation of contaminated sites, contaminated sites, the forwarding of complaints about odour, noise and smoke nuisance and the current topics of climate protection and renewable energies.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Strategic land management with the purchase and sale of municipal properties
