The gramophone reading by music cabaret artist Jo van Nelsen entitled "KABARETT IM KZ" to mark Holocaust Memorial Day was very well attended. Jo van Nelsen offered the visitors an evening against forgetting and in favour of remembering those who made entertainment their purpose in life. Attendance at the commemorative event is free of charge, but this year guests were able to make a donation for use in the former synagogue in Weiskirchen. Now 350 euros could be handed over to Helmut Trageser, Heimat- und Geschichtsverein Weiskirchen e.V. (Weiskirchen Heritage and History Association). He was delighted and pleasantly surprised by the amount. It will be used to renovate the exhibits in the former synagogue.
